How AxiomSync works on a real finance question.

These are illustrative walk-throughs of the platform's method, how it computes, ranks, and explains, not customer testimonials. Named case studies will be published as customers consent to share their results.

These are illustrative scenarios built to show how the platform reasons, using representative (not real-customer) data. We don't publish outcomes we can't attribute.
Scenario 01, Board prep

The board pack, drafted in about thirty minutes.

The situation

In this example, a finance lead spends the better part of two days before each board meeting pulling figures across Stripe and QuickBooks, reconciling against spreadsheets, then hand-writing commentary for every KPI that moved. By the time the deck is finished, the numbers are already a week stale, and the first follow-up question ("what's driving the retention dip?") needs another day of analysis.

The goal isn't a prettier deck. It's to walk in able to answer the next question on the spot.

What AxiomSync surfaces

  • An Executive Brief, Health Score, the three signals that most need discussion, a plan-vs-actual bridge, and a 90-day outlook, drafted from the connected data.
  • A traceable narrative, every sentence links back to the KPI and source rows it came from, so a follow-up drills down instead of stalling.
  • A live Command Center, when the board asks something off-script, you open the causal breakdown on screen rather than promising to follow up next week.

What you'd do next: review the draft, adjust the commentary in your own voice, and walk into the meeting ready to answer live.

Scenario 02, Early warning

Cash pressure spotted before it hits the P&L.

The situation

In this example, revenue is growing, so the standard dashboards stay green, but Days Sales Outstanding has been creeping up for three months while the team's attention is on top-line growth. AR aging is quietly deteriorating, and cash tightening only becomes visible in the monthly close, by which point it's a scramble rather than a decision.

A rising DSO isn't the biggest gap on the board, but it has the most downstream reach.

What AxiomSync surfaces

  • Priority ranking ranks DSO into the top three, not because the gap is largest, but because of what it drags with it downstream.
  • The causal graph shows DSO feeding cash runway, current ratio, and collections effectiveness, so the one metric explains three others.
  • Forward Signals projects the cash trajectory 90 days out with confidence bands, so the pressure window is visible weeks ahead of the close, not after it.

What you'd do next: accelerate collections, revisit payment terms, and re-run the forecast to confirm the trajectory has turned before it reaches the P&L.

Scenario 03, Pricing the gap

The real driver of margin, priced in dollars.

The situation

In this example, gross margin has slipped a few points over two quarters. Standard variance analysis points at COGS, and the team is ready to open supplier renegotiations. But COGS is the symptom: a shift in product mix toward lower-margin SKUs is quietly raising fulfilment cost per order, and the incremental cost was booked as general COGS, hiding the true driver.

Renegotiating suppliers would cost effort and change nothing. The question is where the margin actually leaks.

What AxiomSync surfaces

  • Bridge Analysis breaks the margin gap into its components and attaches an illustrative annualised dollar impact to each, so the debate is about the response, not the number.
  • Trends & Fingerprint isolates the product-mix shift and the fulfilment cost trend the summary line was masking.
  • Scenario Planner lets you model routing and pricing changes on the low-margin category before committing, and shows the recovery trajectory side by side with today's path.

What you'd do next: restructure fulfilment routing and adjust pricing on the low-margin SKUs, instead of renegotiating contracts that were never the cause.
